Why we built Security Vitals for everyday PCs

A Windows-only Beta workspace for investigating unusual behavior, alongside the antivirus you already use.

Why we built Security Vitals for everyday PCs

When unfamiliar behavior appears on a PC, the difficult part is often understanding what it means. A process name or an isolated warning rarely tells the whole story.

A second opinion on unusual behavior

Security Vitals Beta is a Windows-only workspace within OmniMend. It works alongside Microsoft Defender or your registered antivirus. Keep that protection enabled. Security Vitals is not an antivirus replacement and does not guarantee detection or prevention.

Ordinary activity stays local

Local scoring and filtering look for combinations of signals worth investigating. A higher-risk pattern can receive cloud AI review using a bounded, redacted summary. File contents, full paths, raw command lines, raw identifiers, and complete activity history are excluded from that summary.

The response is your choice

The workspace explains the finding and offers supported choices such as trust, dismiss, or investigate. It never quarantines automatically. Manual exact-file quarantine is available only for an eligible target that is safe to isolate and only after your confirmation.

One workspace within a broader product

OmniMend is an agentic AI device-diagnosis system. The Windows app is the complete host for supported local and connected-device workflows. The Apple Silicon Mac app provides native local Mac diagnostics. Security Vitals Beta itself is Windows-only, with access determined by the plan.

Diagnosis stays read-only. Supported repair actions are explained separately, require approval, and are followed by a check of the relevant result.
