Effective: September 21, 2026
Version 2.4What changed in 2.4: New introductory offers are limited to one redemption per person, account, and device. We have replaced the fixed 14-day notice commitment with notice and consent requirements under applicable law. Existing purchases keep their agreed price and paid or promotional period.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the OmniMend desktop application and related services (the "Service") provided by Psynect Corp ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, installing, creating an account, or using OmniMend, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
1. Acceptance and Changes
By creating an account or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
We may update these Terms and will identify the effective date on this page. We will provide advance notice or obtain your consent when applicable law requires it. Subject to those requirements, continued use of the Service after an update takes effect constitutes acceptance. Updates do not retroactively reduce a subscription period you have already purchased. For material changes that affect how we process your personal data, and for users in jurisdictions requiring opt-in consent (UK, EU, EEA, Switzerland, Brazil, India, South Korea), no new processing occurs until you affirmatively accept the updated Terms.
A SHA-256 document hash of the Terms version you accepted is stored in our consent ledger for audit purposes.
2. Description of Service
OmniMend is an agentic AI device-diagnosis system for supported Windows PCs, Apple Silicon Macs, iPhones, iPads, Android devices, Chromebooks, and professional recovery workflows. Diagnosis is read-only. Supported repair actions are available only where the product and plan allow them, after you review and approve the action. The Service includes:
- AI-guided diagnostics and user-approved Windows repair tools
- Plan-dependent device workflows through the Windows host, the native Apple Silicon Mac diagnostics app, USB, ADB, and supported remote connections
- Professional PDF report generation (Solo tier and above)
- Bootable USB media creation (Team tier and above)
- Cloud-based AI inference and usage management
- Optional AI improvement program (see §7)
3. Account Registration
You must create an account using Google OAuth or email authentication. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete registration information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Promptly notify us of any unauthorized access
- Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
You must be at least 18 years old or have legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. See Privacy Policy §9 regarding children's data.
4. Subscription Plans and Usage
4.1 Subscription Tiers
OmniMend offers multiple tiers (Basic, Starter, Personal, Family, Solo, Team, Enterprise) with different feature sets, included usage, and usage limits. Basic appears on the public plans page, but checkout requires a verified account and no active paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed monthly unless otherwise specified.
Basic, Starter, and Personal are personal-use plans. They are licensed for one individual using OmniMend on that individual's own devices, household devices, or personal troubleshooting work. They are not licensed for paid repair work, customer devices, managed IT support, MSP/helpdesk workflows, resale, shared shop use, or other business or commercial use unless Psynect Corp approves otherwise in writing. Solo, Team, and Enterprise are the professional and business-use tiers.
Basic is a $5 monthly plan for verified accounts without an active paid subscription. Eligible new users may pay $1 total for the first month, after which Basic renews at $5 per month unless canceled before renewal. Basic includes about half of Starter's monthly usage, one registered Windows PC or Apple Silicon Mac, Quick and Deep diagnosis, Daily Vitals, supported Windows repair actions, and native local Mac diagnostics. Windows-only Security Vitals Beta and referral rewards are not included. Basic does not include phone, tablet, Chromebook, professional reporting, technician, PE recovery, No Power, shared-account, or commercial-use features.
Family is a personal-use household plan. It permits one adult organizer to invite up to five other adults who live in the same household. Each person must use an individual account; account credentials may not be shared. Family limits include six active members, six registered computers, two simultaneous sessions, and the shared usage allowance shown at purchase. The organizer controls billing, membership, pending invitations, and registered computers, but does not receive access to another member's private conversations, reports, diagnostic history, or Google account. Family may not be resold or used for paid repair, customer-device, MSP, helpdesk, or shop work.
4.2 Usage and Internal Metering
The customer experience presents AI-powered activity as usage. Behind the scenes, OmniMend meters that activity in internal credits based on actual token usage so we can apply plan limits and maintain compatibility with earlier app versions. Included usage refreshes monthly and does not roll over. Balances from earlier credit-pack purchases are preserved one-for-one as Extra Usage. Separately purchased Usage Boosts and preserved Extra Usage do not expire, though an active subscription is required to use them.
4.3 Hardware ID Locking
The Basic, Starter, and Personal tiers are locked to a single machine via hardware ID (HWID) and are limited to personal use as described in §4.1. Basic and Starter cover one registered Windows PC or Mac: Windows includes diagnostics and supported repair tools, while Mac includes supported local diagnostics. Personal includes the same computer coverage plus normal supported iPhone/iPad, Android, and Chromebook diagnostics from the licensed computer. Higher tiers support professional use, floating licenses, and pro features across multiple machines, subject to concurrent session limits.
Family uses a household computer registry instead of sharing one member's machine lock. Releasing a computer removes it from the Family registry but does not erase that computer. We may apply reasonable replacement limits and verification to prevent account abuse.
5. Payment and Billing
Payments are processed through our third-party payment provider (Lemon Squeezy). By purchasing a subscription or Usage Boost, you authorize recurring charges for subscriptions and one-time charges for Usage Boosts. Historical receipts may use the earlier term “credit pack.” Fees are in US Dollars. Refunds are available only under the limited guarantee below or when required by applicable law.
The $1 introductory offer is available once per eligible person, account, and device across Basic, Starter, and Personal, subject to the effective date below. The checkout shows the regular renewal price and timing before purchase. A previous or active redemption cannot be used again on another eligible plan.
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, except that $1 promotional subscriptions may end immediately when cancelled during the promotional period.
Introductory Offer Eligibility
For introductory offers purchased on or after September 21, 2026, each person may redeem the introductory offer only once across Basic, Starter, and Personal. The offer is also limited to one redemption per account and per device. Creating another account, using another email address or payment account, switching plans, or using another device does not make the same person eligible again. We may decline or withdraw a repeat promotional redemption obtained in breach of these limits. Existing promotional purchases retain the price and duration agreed at purchase. Multiple full-price subscriptions are permitted.
5.1 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee
Your initial paid OmniMend subscription purchase is eligible for a full refund when both of these conditions are met: (1) we receive your request within 30 calendar days after the initial subscription charge, and (2) your account has used less than 10% of one month’s included usage for the purchased plan when we receive the request. For an annual subscription, eligibility is measured against one month’s included usage for that plan.
To request a refund, email support@omnimend.com from the account email and include the order number. We determine usage from OmniMend’s internal accounting records through the time the request is received. If approved, the subscription charge is refunded and subscription access may end when the refund is processed.
The guarantee applies to the initial subscription purchase only. It does not apply to renewal charges, Usage Boosts, previously consumed Extra Usage, or separate services. Nothing in this section limits any refund or cancellation right that applicable law requires.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software
- Circumvent or manipulate the licensing, usage-metering, or authentication systems
- Share, transfer, or resell your account credentials or subscription
- Use automated scripts or bots to interact with the Service
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
- Use the Service to damage or compromise third-party systems
- Exceed the concurrent session limits of your subscription tier
- Invite people who do not live in the organizer's household to a Family plan, misrepresent household membership, or use Family as a shared commercial license
- Use a Basic, Starter, or Personal subscription for paid repair work, customer devices, managed IT support, MSP/helpdesk workflows, resale, shared shop use, or other business or commercial use without written approval from Psynect Corp
- Submit or transmit content that you do not have the legal right to submit
7. Data Handling, AI Improvement, and Contribution License
7.1 How We Handle Your Data
Your data is handled in accordance with the OmniMend Privacy Policy v2, which describes what we collect, how we use it, what we retain, and your rights. By using the Service you agree to the Privacy Policy's terms.
7.2 Optional Contribution Program
OmniMend maintains an AI improvement program. When you have consented to diagnostic retention under the Privacy Policy (see Privacy Policy §4 for how consent is obtained based on your location), you contribute redacted repair data that powers product improvements for all users.
7.3 Contribution License
If and only if you have provided valid consent to data contribution under the Privacy Policy, you grant Psynect Corp a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, modify, create derivative works from, and analyze the redacted diagnostic traces from your sessions for the following purposes:
- Training, fine-tuning, and evaluating AI models used by OmniMend
- Building benchmarks and analytics to improve diagnostic accuracy and repair success rates
- Creating aggregated or anonymized research outputs (for example, industry trend reports, academic publications, or product documentation)
- Developing new features, tool routing, and fix-prediction systems
This license applies only to redacted data. The redaction pipeline is described in Privacy Policy §3.
This license is revocable: if you withdraw your consent, the license for new sessions ends immediately, and Psynect will delete or cryptographically shred retained individual data within 30 days. Aggregated or anonymized research products already created cannot be retroactively unaggregated, but your individual contribution no longer informs new processing.
Psynect does not claim ownership of your diagnostic content. The license is strictly for the purposes listed above.
7.4 Things We Will Not Do With Contributed Data
- Sell your personal information
- Share raw, non-redacted diagnostic content with advertisers or data brokers
- Identify you personally in any published research or public output
- Train external third-party models outside of OmniMend's infrastructure
8. System Modifications, AI Unpredictability, and Risk
8.1 Nature of System Modifications
IMPORTANT — PLEASE READ CAREFULLY: OmniMend performs diagnostic scans and, in supported Windows and recovery workflows, can make direct modifications only after you authorize the action. These include installing, updating, or removing device drivers; modifying system files (SFC/DISM); editing Windows Registry values; changing startup and service configurations; removing software (including pre-installed bloatware); modifying boot configurations (BCD/MBR/EFI); managing disk partitions; and making offline repairs to non-booting Windows systems via bootable USB. Any of these modifications can potentially render the affected Windows system inoperable, cause data loss, or introduce instability.
8.2 AI-Driven Decision Making
OmniMend is powered by artificial intelligence, which is inherently unpredictable. While we implement safety measures including mandatory user confirmation prompts, automatic restore point creation, and multi-layered safety gates, you acknowledge and understand that:
- AI models (including Google Gemini, Anthropic Claude, and OpenAI GPT) generate recommendations based on probabilistic reasoning, not deterministic logic. AI outputs may be incorrect, misleading, or inappropriate for your specific situation.
- The AI may misdiagnose the root cause of a problem, recommend unnecessary repairs, or suggest modifications that worsen the issue.
- AI behavior cannot be fully predicted or controlled. Despite our best efforts to constrain the AI agent's actions through safety prompts and tool gating, there is always a residual risk of unexpected behavior.
- AI models are provided by third parties (Google, Anthropic, OpenAI) and may change without notice.
- The AI agent autonomously selects which diagnostic tools to run. While it requests confirmation before making changes, the diagnostic process itself may affect system performance temporarily.
8.3 Multi-Device Risks
- Windows PC (Local): Repairs are performed directly on the machine running OmniMend. Incorrect driver installations, registry modifications, or system file repairs can cause blue screens, boot failures, or data loss.
- Apple Silicon Mac: The native Mac app provides supported local diagnostics. Windows repair tools, Security Vitals Beta, and Windows PE recovery are not available in the Mac host. Diagnostic activity can temporarily affect performance, and you remain responsible for the device and its data.
- iPhone (USB): Diagnostic operations read device data via USB. While primarily read-only, device interaction may affect state.
- Android (USB/ADB): The supported workflow uses ADB for diagnostics. Device interaction can affect state, so follow the prompts and keep a current backup.
- Windows PE Recovery (Bootable USB): Offline repairs on non-booting systems carry the highest risk. Incorrect offline repairs can permanently render a Windows installation unrecoverable.
8.4 Your Responsibilities
- Backups: You are solely responsible for maintaining complete and current backups of all data before using OmniMend's repair features.
- Review Before Confirming: Carefully review each proposed modification before granting confirmation. Once confirmed, the modification may not be fully reversible.
- Restore Points: OmniMend automatically creates System Restore points before Windows repairs. However, restore points do not capture all state and can fail. Do not rely on restore points as your sole backup.
- Professional Judgment: If you service client devices (as an MSP, IT technician, or repair shop), you are responsible for exercising professional judgment. AI recommendations should be validated against your own technical knowledge.
- Authorization: You must have proper authorization to access and modify any device you connect to OmniMend.
8.5 Assumption of Risk
BY USING OMNIMEND'S REPAIR FEATURES, YOU EXPRESSLY ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT YOU DO SO ENTIRELY AT YOUR OWN RISK. YOU UNDERSTAND THAT SYSTEM MODIFICATIONS PERFORMED BY AI-DRIVEN SOFTWARE CAN CAUSE IRREVERSIBLE DAMAGE INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO: COMPLETE DATA LOSS, DEVICE BRICKING, OPERATING SYSTEM CORRUPTION, HARDWARE INCOMPATIBILITY, NETWORK DISRUPTION, AND LOSS OF ACCESS TO FILES, APPLICATIONS, OR SERVICES. PSYNECT CORP SHALL NOT BE HELD LIABLE FOR ANY SUCH DAMAGES.
9. Intellectual Property
The Service — including all software, documentation, branding, logos, and content — is owned by Psynect Corp and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Your subscription grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the software for its intended purpose.
White-label reports generated through the Team or Enterprise tier may be customized with your branding. The underlying report engine and formatting remain the intellectual property of Psynect Corp.
Any redacted diagnostic data you contribute under the license in §7.3 remains yours. Psynect's license is limited to the purposes listed in §7.3.
10. Third-Party Services
OmniMend integrates with Google (authentication and AI models), Anthropic (AI models), OpenAI (AI models), Supabase (infrastructure), Cloudflare (infrastructure), and Lemon Squeezy (payments). Your use of these is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party availability, accuracy, or conduct.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
AI-GENERATED DIAGNOSES, RECOMMENDATIONS, AND REPAIR ACTIONS ARE PROVIDED ON A BEST-EFFORT BASIS. THE AI MODELS POWERING OMNIMEND ARE PROBABILISTIC AND INHERENTLY UNPREDICTABLE — THEY MAY PRODUCE DIFFERENT OUTPUTS FOR IDENTICAL INPUTS. PSYNECT MAKES NO WARRANTY REGARDING THE ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, OR SUITABILITY OF ANY AI-GENERATED OUTPUT FOR YOUR SPECIFIC SITUATION.
12. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, PSYNECT CORP AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, SYSTEM DAMAGE, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, REGARDLESS OF THE THEORY OF LIABILITY.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Psynect Corp and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
14. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including but not limited to intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification, and the contribution license in §7.3 (only with respect to data already retained prior to termination).
Upon termination or account deletion, we will delete or cryptographically shred your retained diagnostic traces within 30 days, subject to legal retention obligations (for example, billing records retained for 3 years).
15. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.
Users in the United Kingdom, European Union, European Economic Area, and Switzerland retain any mandatory consumer-protection or data-protection rights in their home jurisdictions notwithstanding this clause.
16. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
17. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Psynect Corp regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
