Diagnosis is read-only

OmniMend is an agentic AI device-diagnosis system for the devices you work on. Here is how it keeps diagnosis read-only, puts every supported repair behind the technician’s decision, and records what happened. We also list what is not built yet, so you can judge it plainly.
OmniMend / Repair controlOmniMend separates gathering evidence from changing a device, and keeps the person at the keyboard in charge of the second part.

Repair mode has to be turned on by the person using OmniMend. It explains each proposed action and asks for confirmation before it runs it.
Repair actions exist for supported Windows cases. The Apple Silicon Mac app and the iPhone, iPad, Android, and Chromebook workflows provide diagnostics, not repair.
Approval is the start of a repair, not the end of it.
Before it edits the Windows registry, OmniMend creates a System Restore point and checks that it was created.
After an approved repair, OmniMend checks the relevant evidence again in the conversation and reports whether the result changed. Daily Vitals goes further: it marks a finding fixed only after a fresh automatic scan confirms it. We are extending automatic re-checks to more repairs.
System file repair, driver changes, and app uninstalls do not have an automatic undo today. Wider rollback coverage is on our roadmap.
Professional buyers ask what leaves the device and what they can show a customer afterward.
Solo provides branded PDF reports and Team adds white-label reports for the shop. A structured, exportable audit log of every approval and action is on our roadmap.
To diagnose a case, the evidence OmniMend gathers is sent to its AI service for analysis. Data kept to improve OmniMend goes through automatic redaction and is controlled by a consent setting. See the privacy policy for details.
OmniMend for Windows is code-signed. Before it applies an update, the updater checks the file’s hash and publisher signature.
OmniMend assists diagnosis and repair decisions. It does not guarantee a fix, and it does not change a device without approval. See the terms of service.
If you find a security problem in OmniMend, email support@omnimend.com with “Security” in the subject line. Please give us a reasonable chance to fix it before sharing it publicly.
Bring the device types and recurring cases you work on. We will walk through the approval and verification steps with you. The pilot has no obligation.
